Preparation depends on the existing condition, but normally includes protecting adjacent areas, sanding, minor filling, spot priming and other preparation required for the agreed scope. If significant repairs are discovered, we discuss them before carrying out extra work.
It depends on the size of the home, whether it is occupied, the condition of the surfaces and how much preparation is required. After the site inspection we can give you a realistic expected timeframe rather than a generic estimate.
In many cases, yes. We can stage the work room by room and coordinate access with you. For larger repaints, we will explain which areas need to be clear and how we plan to minimise disruption.
Your quote is based on the visible condition at the time of inspection. If hidden damage, extensive cracking, rot or other unexpected repairs are found, we will explain the issue and any additional cost before proceeding.
Yes. We can discuss suitable colours, sheens and coating systems for the nominated areas. Final colour selection remains with the client, but we can help you make a practical choice.
We aim to make the scope clear: nominated surfaces, preparation allowance, paint system, inclusions, exclusions and any important assumptions. That way you know what has and has not been allowed for before work starts.
We ask clients to remove small items, valuables and personal belongings where practical. Larger furniture can often be repositioned or protected depending on the room and agreed scope.
